Well it may have taken a little more than 3 weeks to build but it’s easy to see why. This innovative new skatepark features obstacles that you like to play on such as… that weird roof rack looking thing… and… well i’m not quite sure what any of this shit is supposed to be, or how they expect it to serve anyones needs.

staten island is the only one of the 5 boroughs that doesnt have a great skate with yearly up keep.
It really sucks to see our local park gone after only 5 years, and it is unfortunate for us that our city doesnt respect the sport like the rest of new york

Robbie is the man,he set up a Cult Jam for this Friday so we can all ride and injoy life for a lil with free food,give-aways & a D.J on deck.It's going down at The House Of Vans in Brooklyn & the place is unreal,it has a huge Bowl,a lil outdoor street plaza and random ramps allovertheplace.....b.t.w this is deff goin to be like one of the only times we(B.M.X-ers) are going to get to be able to ride it(nohomo)....so dont slack and lets ride bikes! Project Spark is a community based project originating from Staten Island, New York. The intention of the project is to bring New York City its first public indoor skatepark. This skatepark would provide indoor practicing grounds to the 3,000+ action sports participants in the five boroughs. Eddie has been a long time rider in staten island and i have grown up into bmx with him around. And from day one he has always been about bmx in every way. He has been doing so much with bmx for NY and not just for him self that its time for him to say a few words. The new skate park on pier 62 in NYC is almost done i posted up a few pictures of it not to long ago. We are not a 100% on what the situation is as far as bike let in or not. But signing this petition will help NYC have one more park that is bike friendly !

According to a few sk8 websites iv looked at. The new chelsea piers skatepark is done and will be opening after winter. For those of you that dont know chelsea pier is a sports complex built on the water front in manhatten it had a park a few years back that was so so but this new park is going to be amazing !

so this weekend was nothing but rain and cold in new york and it made me miss the take trip ( thetakeonlife.com ) that trip was nothing but fun and sun. It was nice out the from day one. I was actually watching the dvd and missing the park we went to on the first day some where in cali here is a picture i took at the park. If anyone wants to see the dvd its for sale on danscomp.com just look for the take road trip. On a good note i took the night shift at my job so new hours are from 10pm till 6 am witch means ill have the days all to my self. And since im not a big fan of sleep ill be getting alot more riding in!

Hey everyone im nick and this will be my first of many posts of my NEW YORK MINUTE
I will try my best to keep everyone updated on the way we do things out here. Ill be posting pictures and videos as much as possible. As of right now its starting to get real cold thanks to mother nature but ill post up how me and the homies make it threw the crap aka the snow.
